Craft Show: Holiday Boutique on the Lake...

Nov 27, 2012 by

Well, it didn’t take very long before we found our very first craft show to attend! When it comes to keeping busy, Gwen and I seem to be the ultimate champions at it. After all the work we put into getting the Etsy Shop up and running, we had originally expected to take a small breather. Yeah, we should have known better. No sooner do we have the shop up, we make our first sale! Definitely extremely exciting, because being the realist I am sometimes, I had not expected a sale on the first day. I figured it would take some serious marketing to get to that point. Gwen on the other hand not only expected it, but has a dream that we will sell out of flowers before the holidays. Now, I’m inclined...

Welcome to our Etsy!

Nov 26, 2012 by

It’s been a long road as we dreamed up this crazy idea back in January of 2012, but it has finally happened. We finally did it. Products have been finished, photographs have been taken, and we are officially… OPEN FOR BUSINESS! That’s right, we have officially opened our shop on Etsy this Cyber Monday, and we’re super excited to share it with you! We’re starting off with just Kanzashi flowers, but we’re working steadily on more products to offer you. So definitely give us a bookmark and keep an eye out, because it’s going to be so amazing you won’t be able to absorb it all in one sitting! Tell your friends, tell your family, heck, tell your cat (like he’d listen anyway though), Dancer’s Dream Boutique is ready to get rockin’ n’ rollin’!...

About our Petal Skirts

Nov 18, 2012 by

Our petal skirts are free-flowing and easy to wear. Coming in a bright range of gorgeous colors, they can be worn over a full skirt, or just a pair of really awesome pants. They’re made from beautiful chiffons that are soft to the touch and float as you spin. With finished edges done on a serger, these skirts are bound to last for a long time. The waistband is made of simple cotton, and secures with elastic. Since it has a waistband, should the elastic ever become brittle and break from age, or if you ever need to change the elastic to fit a different size, you have that option; making these skirts extremely versatile. The skirts are composed of an average 13 petals, but more or less can be used depending on the...

About our Kanzashi Flowers for Everyday Wear...

Nov 17, 2012 by

The Kanzashi flowers that we make from everyday cottons are great for casual and formal wear, since they’re elegant enough to spice up your favorite dress, and fun enough to be worn with jeans. Of course, we’re a dancing duet of crafters, so we love to wear them when dancing! These flowers make great hair accessories to place with your favorite costume, and we can do so many color combinations! While we do have our standard flowers that we offer made from fabrics and items that we can find at any time, we can also create custom, one of a kind pieces just for you! If you have a certain color combination you’d like, let us know! We’ll do what we can! And of course, there are many different folds available to stylize the...
