As you are aware if you follow us on Facebook, we have been ultra-busy crafting in preparation for our final craft fair of the 2014 season; the 2nd Annual One Stop Holiday Shop in Saratoga Springs, NY. Last year we had only just broken into eggshell items, this year we’ve gone above and beyond that as we’ve gotten into beaded jewelry and hand-dyed silks! Since we’re so excited to share, here’s a sneak preview of what’s to come! 😉 Of course, you can see more on the Facebook page, so if you’re curious definitely go take a peak.
Crystal Cluster Earrings
Crystal Cluster Earrings are something we’ve always admired for their shiny beauty, and are now capable of crafting. These earrings are created using Czech glass crystals clustered together on a few links of chain to create lustrous jewelry. Each pair of earrings contains 42 total crystals (21 per earring), separated into three colors that create a wonderful harmony. Czech glass comes in a wide range of colors, so many different, lovely pairs of earrings can be created simply by selecting a new trio of colors. It makes for vast imaginative opportunities! Best thing about these earrings, is that they’re perfect for casual, every-day wear; or to spice up an outfit as you head out on the town for the night. Regardless of the function, these earrings will go well with what you’ve selected and not let you down in fashion!
Fancy Tila Bracelet
Fancy Tila Bracelets are unique in that they zig-zag, which is not something one commonly sees in a beaded piece. It helps to liven-up the design, and gives more visual interest to the art you’re wearing than just a simple bracelet. Easily customizable with many colors, these bracelets are great for making that simple outfit stand out just a bit by added them to you accessories for the day. Not only that, but they’re a flat bracelet which makes for easy wearing! If you’re anything like us, you are constantly moving around, and a round bracelet can get in the way of that. Or, if you’re someone who is at a desk all day, nothing is more uncomfortable than a bracelet (or anything for that matter) digging into your wrist where it sits on the desk. Flat bracelets don’t have that issue, making them ideal for those of us who probably need to go to the gym after sitting all day. 😉
Super Duo Ladder Bracelet
If the Fancy Tila Bracelet is a bit too-much for you, then there’s the Super Duo Ladder Bracelet. Also featuring a flat profile, it’s a bit more subdued than the Fancy Tila Bracelet making it a good accessory for the person who has something else they want to show off. This bracelet still impresses though, because the pattern lends itself well to aesthetics in the way the super duos seem to just mesh together into a trance-like pattern. Since super duos come in a wide range of colors, there is a lot of customization that can be done with these bracelets, too. They can be as wild or as tame as you will it, making it easy to jazz them up for the person who loves the pattern, but needs it to be more bold. Since this is not a thick pattern, it’s also easily worn by children, and so we highly recommend these for the younger-crowd who want to look as fabulous as the females they look up to in life (that’s you Mom). In fact, wouldn’t a matching mother-daughter or sisters set be wonderful? 😉
Rivoli Set
Not only are we offering jewelry, but we’re also offering sets for the first time as well! These earring-necklace combo sets can be bought together, or you can buy just one piece (but there’s a discount if you buy the set, naturally). Featuring genuine Swarovski crystals as the focal-points, the earrings and necklace in this set will make any person wearing them feel like royalty. The crystals shine like gemstones, and to the casual glance it is a bit difficult to tell the difference! Absolutely stunning, these sets will make any outfit even more elegant, making them perfect for proms, weddings, homecoming, and definitely dance performances! Swarovski crystals not only look elegant, but they’re wonderful at catching light and drawing all eyes to them. If you’re the kind of person who likes to look fancy, then this set is something you definitely don’t want to pass up. Hand-Dyed Silk Scarf
These silk scarves cannot be fully understood in photos alone–to fully appreciate them it is necessary to feel how luxuriously smooth and soft they are, to see how vibrant the colors look in person, and to see how they take any outfit to the next level regardless of the season. These scarves are 100% silk that has been hand-dyed to achieve unique, one-of-a-kind patterns. We can always replicate color, but we cannot 100% replicate patterns. So if you like what you see, we recommend not hesitating to purchase, because it might not be there when you get back! Currently, our scarves measure 8″ x 54″, making them an easily-accessible size for anyone, of any age (though we don’t recommend them for little ones with sticky fingers). Eventually, we plan on getting larger ones too, so if there’s a size you just LOVE, let us know and we’ll try to stock it!
So there you have it! Some sneak-previews of the sorts of items that are going to be accompanying us to the last craft fair of 2014.
